The Dual Enrollment Specialist is responsible for the administration of school partnerships programs including ACE, Associate in High School, and the high school certificate partnerships. The Dual Enrollment Specialist works closely with the College and High School faculty and staff to provide training and assistance required for efficient delivery of quality school partnership programs.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates the recruiting, advising, and providing of certificate in high school information, such as policies, requirements, registration, payment, grades, transfer processes, etc. to high school students, parents, and administrators. Attends and presents at parent information nights at partner districts.
- In coordination with the Office of School Partnerships and Student Services, participates in ACE dual enrollment registration events, presenting to students on the benefits and process of dual enrollment.
- Manages grade reports for high school students enrolled in online or on campus college courses, monitoring trends in grades and addressing concerns.
- Develops, monitors, and amends Certificate in High School students’ semester course schedules/advising worksheets.
- Oversees students’ course enrollment, advises students, and assists in the registration process to ensure students in the Certificate in High School Program remain on track for graduation.
- Plans and coordinates in-person ACE Faculty Annual Discipline Training events.
- Develops and implements a plan for the annual update of high school partnership agreements, such as ACE Agreements and Articulation Agreements.
- Works in conjunction with the School Partnership Specialist and local school districts to build the ACE dual enrollment schedule.
- In conjunction with Academic Affairs and ACE faculty liaisons, manages the collection of ACE faculty assessment.
- Works with Academic Affairs to ensure compliance on assessment activities and NACEP standards.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, social sciences, or related field required.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Experience in secondary or higher education preferred.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats to a wide variety of audiences and potential ability to build strong working relationships with educational partners.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn College specific software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- PA Sate Police Criminal Background Clearance
- PA Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Criminal History Clearance
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to use personal vehicle for business travel.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent sitting.
- Must be able to talk, hear, operate a computer, and drive a vehicle.
- Occasional lifting up to 10lbs.
