Our Broadcast News and Video Production Certificate provides hands-on skills in video studio and field camera operation, video editing fundamentals, and graphic creation. You’ll train through a direct partnership with WJAC-TV, part of Sinclair, a large TV station group with 185 stations across 86 U.S. markets. This certificate includes two three-credit apprenticeships at WJAC-TV, so you graduate with real-world experience and a portfolio that gets noticed.

How and Where You Will Study
- In-Person at the Richland Campus: Most classes are held in person at the Richland Campus, with some courses available online as part of the College’s standard schedule. You’ll get face-to-face instruction and access to on-campus resources.
- Apprenticeships at WJAC-TV: Apprenticeships take place at WJAC-TV’s location in Upper Yoder Township, suburban Johnstown, where you’ll gain authentic, on-site broadcast experience.
