The Black Bears Women’s Basketball Team is a proud member of National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 20. Penn Highlands competes at the Division II level of the NJCAA.
Home games are held inside the main gymnasium of the College’s Richland Campus.

| Chris Weakley began his tenure with Penn Highlands in 2024. Weakley holds extensive basketball experience, having played and coached overseas in China, Japan, Brazil, Australia, and throughout Europe. In the United States, Weakley has led three different college programs, as well as being the head coach of the Draft City Ballers, a team in the NBA-endorsed Miami Pro League, in 2023. Weakley guided the Black Bears Men's Basketball team to back-to-back WPCC/Region 20 Championships in 2024-25 and 2025-26. |
