Men’s Basketball

The Black Bears Men’s Basketball Team is a proud member of National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 20 and the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (WPCC). Penn Highlands currently competes at the Division 3 level of the NJCAA.

Home games are held inside the main gymnasium of the College’s Richland Campus.

Email Chris Weakley

Chris Weakley began his tenure with Penn Highlands in 2024. Weakley holds extensive basketball experience, having played and coached overseas in China, Japan, Brazil, Australia, and throughout Europe. In the United States, Weakley has led three different college programs, as well as being the head coach of the Draft City Ballers, a team in the NBA-endorsed Miami Pro League, in 2023.

Weakley was named the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (WPCC) and Region 20 Coach of the Year after guiding the Black Bears to their first-ever region championship in 2024-25.
