Golf & Cross Country Release 2025 Schedules
Posted August 19, 2025 at 10:35 amThe Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Golf and Cross Country teams have released their respective 2025 season schedules, rounding out the remainder of the College’s fall sports.
The Black Bears golf team is set to compete in seven Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (WPCC) matches, with the match on October 3 at Windber Country Club serving as Penn Highlands’ lone home contest of the season.
All seven matches will be against WPCC opponents Butler County Community College, Community College of Allegheny County, and Westmoreland County Community College. The schedule is as follows:
August 29 at Lake Arthur Golf Club (Butler, PA)
September 8 at Glengarry Golf Links (Latrobe, PA)
September 12 at North Park Golf Course (Allison Park, PA)
September 19 at Lake Arthur Golf Club (Butler, PA)
September 26 at North Park Golf Course (Allison Park, PA)
September 29 at Glengarry Golf Links (Latrobe, PA)
October 3 at Windber Country Club (Salix, PA)
The WPCC Tournament is set to take place October 6 and 7 at The Links at Spring Church in Apollo, PA, where individual and team conference champions will be crowned. Following that, the Black Bears will gear up for a spring season, running from March to June 2026. During this time, schools will vie for the Region 20 Championship and a spot in the NJCAA Golf Championships.
Cross Country will compete in four invitational races beginning on August 29 at Westmoreland County Community College. The full race schedule includes:
August 29 at Westmoreland County Community College Invitational
September 13 at Potomac State College Invitational
October 4 at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Invitational
October 11 at Mount Aloysius College Invitational
Penn Highlands will then travel back to Westmoreland on October 25 for the WPCC/Region 20 Meet. There, the Black Bears will have the opportunity to qualify for the NJCAA Cross Country Championships held on November 8 at Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
