Free Live Webinar On Easing FAFSA Anxiety & College Affordability
Posted May 6, 2024 at 9:24 amPennsylvania Highlands Community College is set to host an informative and free live webinar titled Easing FAFSA Anxiety. This event is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, and will run from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, accessible via ZOOM.
The webinar will consist of topics including exploring college affordability, dispelling common FAFSA myths, and lowering stress surrounding one of the most significant decisions many families will face when sending their children to college.
“National reports and local anecdotes suggest an increase in FAFSA and financial anxiety this year,” stated Matthew Bodenschatz, Director of Recruiting and Admissions. “Our goal with this webinar is to ease some of these concerns and demonstrate that a college education can be affordable.”
According to Inside Higher Ed, there has been a 40% decrease in FAFSA completions compared to 2023.
