Women’s Volleyball Releases 2026 Season Schedule
Posted July 22, 2026 at 11:53 amThe Pennsylvania Highlands Women’s Volleyball team has released its schedule for the 2026 season, consisting of 19 matches spanning August through October.
After 16 years in Division III, this season marks the Black Bears’ debut in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II.
Penn Highlands, the 2025 Region 20 runner-up in Division III, will play eight of its contests at home, including two tri-matches. The Black Bears will kick off their season against Butler County Community College on August 28 at 6 PM.
Home matches will be played inside the main gymnasium at the College’s Richland Campus. All scheduled dates and times are subject to change. The full home schedule is as follows:
- August 28 vs. Butler County Community College
- September 16 vs. Mount Aloysius College JV
- September 19 vs. Harford Community College (tri-match)
- September 19 vs. Allegany College of Maryland (tri-match)
- September 26 vs. Cecil College (tri-match)
- September 26 vs. Community College of Beaver County (tri-match)
- October 14 vs. Hagerstown Community College
- October 15 vs. Garrett College (Sophomore Night)
Following completion of the regular season, qualified teams will compete in the Region 20 Tournament beginning October 27. First-round matchups will be hosted by the higher-seeded team.
The tournament semifinals and championship match will then be held October 31 and November 1, respectively, at Cecil College in North East, Maryland. The Region 20 champion will advance to the Mid-Atlantic District Tournament for an opportunity to earn a berth in the NJCAA Championships,
