May09May 9, 2024, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pmThe College Senate will serve as an advisory group to the President on matters of mutual interest to the Student Senate, the Faculty Senate, the Administrative Senate, and the Staff Senate. As such, it provides a structure to ensure that representatives of the various governance bodies of the College have a venue and a voice in the decision making processes of the College and that these representatives have an opportunity to hear the various opinions of their colleagues.

Commencement
May10May 10, 2024, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmCommencement for the Twenty-Ninth Graduating Class will be held on Friday, May 10th, 2024 at 6 PM. The ceremony will take place in the Richland Campus Auditorium. Graduates will report to East Hills Main Gymnasium by 5:15pm with gown, cap, and tassel. Guests will be asked to go directly to the Auditorium.
This is a momentous occasion, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and looking ahead to the future. The dedication of our graduates is unmatched. We hope that this Commencement ceremony will be a joyful and memorable event for you and your loved ones.

Guest Information
Tickets will be distributed in early May after we confirm how many graduates are walking. They will have your names on them. If you need handicap tickets, please contact Student Activities.
Guests should arrive no later than 5:45pm to gain entrance to the auditorium.
Those who do not have a ticket will still be able to spend the evening with you on campus. They will be directed to the live-streaming areas on campus. This is also a great location for children to watch.
Graduation Fair
Graduates will pick up their caps and gowns for Commencement at their respective Graduation Fair to be held at each Center Location:
- Monday, April 8 – Somerset and Ebensburg, 9am to 4:45pm
- Tuesday, April 9 – Blair, 9am to 4:45pm
- Wednesday, April 10 – Richland, 9am to 4:45pm
- Thursday, April 11 – Richland, 9am to 4:45pm
If you are unable to attend a Graduation Fair may pick up their regalia at the Student Engagement Awards on Thursday, April 25.
Your cap and gown will be processed by the height and weight indicated on your graduation application.
*Please note: A special graduation rehearsal meeting will not be held, as we know you all have complicated schedules. We are sensitive to your busy lives.

Cyber Security Student Boot Camp
June17June 17, 2024 - June 19, 2024, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pmFREE Student Boot Camp for those interested in cybersecurity. It provides advanced face-to-face training for students in grades 9 – 12. This is a two-day boot camp, from 1 – 4 PM, on June 17 and 19.
- Discussions on the theory behind cybersecurity best practices.
- Provides both tech and non-tech students with a practical understanding of cybersecurity.
- Covers crucial topics such as security assessment and configuration, strategies for protection and defense, offensive measures, and remediation.
- Hands-on workshops using fundamental tools.

Board of Trustees Meeting
June18June 18, 2024, 4:30 pm - 6:30 pmThe Board of Trustees is the policy-making body of the College and is ultimately responsible for setting the larger agenda for the institution. The Board is comprised of representatives from private, for-profit companies, education, and non-profits. The Cambria County Commissioners appoint 12 members to our Board of Trustees. Three additional members are board-appointed from locations in which the College has an academic center, and the Student Senate President serves as a voting member.
The Board of Trustees meeting takes place at the Richland Campus in the Holtzman Board Room and/or via Zoom.
