You will get the basics of what you need to know to succeed on the four GED® test modules: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematical Reasoning.

    Some GED® Testing Centers require proof that you have passed a GED® test preparation course or the official practice tests before you can take the official GED® tests. Before enrolling in this course, please check with the official GED® Testing Center where you intend to take your tests to make sure that this course will meet their requirements. Not all states use the GED® test as their test for high school equivalency diploma.

  • Intermediate A+ Certification: Operating Systems

    The Intermediate CompTIA A+ Certification Prep course teaches you how to install, organize, maintain, and troubleshoot three different versions of Windows, plus explore similar features in macOS and Linux.   • LPI Linux Essentials Exam Prep

    The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Linux Essentials exam is an industry standard that demonstrates to employers that you know the basics of the Linux operating system. In this course, you will gain the support you need to study, prepare for, and pass the Linux Essentials exam. You will start with the history of Linux, how it was originally developed, and why there are so many different distributions available. You’ll learn about the open source software movement, and how the various types of open source software licensing differ.   • Praxis Core Preparation

    Are you a prospective teacher who needs to pass the Praxis Core Exam? Have you already attempted the Praxis Core and not been successful? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then this course is for you.

    You will get familiar with the different types of questions that appear on the reading and writing tests. You will master the many areas of math that you will be tested on: number operations, negative numbers, exponents, square roots, order of operations, decimals, fractions, percentages, algebra, geometry, systems of measurement, and probability and statistics. To prepare for the two essays, you will learn what constitutes high scoring essays and go through the process of writing each essay in the amount of time allotted.

  • SAT/ACT Prep Series

    This series will prepare you to excel in all sections of the undergraduate college entrance exams.

    Series includes:

    SAT/ACT Prep – Part 1

    Both the ACT and the SAT contain verbal and math question types. SAT/ACT Preparation Part I will give you all the information you need to do well on the verbal questions of the ACT and the new SAT. The ACT verbal sections are called the Reading Test, the English Test, and the Science Test. The Reading Test and the English Test assess your knowledge of English usage, grammar, and reading comprehension. This course will provide you with a grammar and usage review specifically geared to the rules that you’ll be tested on in the ACT. You’ll also learn how to maximize your time on reading comprehension passages and the passages in the science test.

    Beginning March 2016, the SAT verbal questions changed. The lessons in this course will prepare you for those changes. You’ll learn how to answer the questions types in the most time-efficient manner.

    SAT/ACT Prep – Part 2

    Both the ACT and the SAT contain verbal and math question types. SAT/ACT Preparation Part 2 will give you all the information you need to do well on the math questions of the ACT and the new SAT. The ACT math tests your knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and basic statistics. This course provides you with a complete math review of all these subjects. We’ll also show you how to use your time wisely so that you finish as many math questions as possible in the 60 minutes the ACT gives you for the math test.

    Beginning with the March 2016 exam, the SAT math questions have changed a bit. The lessons in this course are designed to prepare you for those changes.

    Nursing is a high-demand but competitive field. Entering the profession starts with nursing school, and admission to nursing school partially depends on your Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam score. Many nursing schools use this standardized exam to evaluate a candidate’s reading, math, science, and English and language skills.

    Our TEAS Prep Series will prepare you for all aspects of the TEAS exam. TEAS Prep 1 focuses on Reading and English and Language Usage. TEAS Prep 2 focuses on Mathematics and Science.
