Our Liberal Arts & Sciences program is designed for you to explore career paths through easily transferable introductory courses.

The path to a bachelor’s degree starts here.

Many students earn transferable credits from us and then move on to earn a bachelor’s degree. We maintain over 120 transfer agreements with other colleges and universities. No matter what you decide to study, a bachelor’s degree is not too far away.

Convenience is essential.

With six locations spanning the Southern Alleghenies region, and classes offered in day, evening, online, and blended formats, one of our facilities is easily within reach.

Scholarships are available.

Paying for college is not always easy. Our Foundation awards a number of scholarships each year. In fact, in 2018-2019 alone, the College Foundation awarded over $21,000 in scholarships.

Many students and their families have similar questions about paying for college, so here are answers to the questions we hear the most.

How much does it cost?

Penn Highlands’ 2019-2020 average tuition and fees for a Pennsylvania resident is $4,185 (per semester). To put that in perspective, the average tuition and fees for a public four-year college or university is $10,400. (Source: College Board)

How am I going to afford it?

Our tuition and fees are reasonable compared to those around us. And to help, Financial Aid can help you navigate the various types of aid.
