After graduating from Conemaugh Valley High School, Leah Fox attended Pennsylvania Highlands Community College and got the education that she needed to have a successful career.
“I graduated in May of 2018 with a degree in Radiologic Technology, and in that same month I was able to get a job as a radiologic technologist at a local hospital due to my education,” stated Leah Fox.
In order to become a radiologic technologist, Leah had to pass a board certified exam first. She credits Penn Highlands with giving her the confidence and education she needed to pass it.
In addition to the education she received, Leah enjoyed the student experience and atmosphere she had while attending, “I really enjoyed the experience that Penn Highlands provided me. The friends that I made, and the faculty that supported my goals, helped me thrive as a person and in my career.”
Leah Fox excelled as a student in and out of the classroom. She was involved in many activities across the College, such as being a co-founder of the Cheer Team and helping lead Student Senate. With some help from Penn Highlands, Leah has become an integral part of our region and will be for years to come.
