3rd Annual Sprint to Success 5K Run/Walk

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College will be holding its 3rd Annual Sprint to
Success 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 27th at the College's Richland Campus.

Registration for this event is from 8:00am to 9:15am on the morning of the race at the College's auditorium entrance. The race will begin at 9:30am sharp. The cost is $15 for
pre-registrants and will be $18 for those that register
the day of the race. T-shirts are guaranteed to all
pre-registrants received by March 12, 2010.

The course begins at the College's auditorium entrance and is an asphalt and macadam style course.

Awards will be given to the top 3 for the following age groups in addition to the top 3 male and top 3 female overall finishers.

• Male & Female - 14 and under
• Male & Female - 15 to 19
• Male & Female - 20 to 29
• Male & Female - 30 to 39
• Male & Female - 40 to 49
• Male & Female - 50 to 59
• Male & Female - 60 to 69
• Male & Female - 70 and over

Additionally, a new award will be handed out this year, the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Fastest Club Award. Entries for this yearly rotating award must be a group of 3 or more members from a Pennsylvania Highlands Community College club/organization.  Finishing times for each group will be the overall average of the group’s top three finishers (walkers and/or runners).  The group finishing with the fastest average time of their top three participants will have the club/organization name added to the award and the club/organization houses the award until next year’s race.
