How to Report an Accident

Any crime occurring on campus will be reported to the appropriate local law enforcement agency. The Office of Security and Safety investigates violations of the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Student Handbook, which is distributed to all students at the beginning of each academic year. These incidents are referred to the appropriate administrative office for further action.

To report a crime or emergency, members of the College community should call the Office of Security and Safety by dialing 814-262-6427 or extension 6427 from any campus phone. Campus community members can also report crimes in person to the Office of Security and Safety located at 101 Community College Way at the Richland campus. Depending on your location, crimes or emergency situations can also be reported as follows:

• Crimes or emergencies occurring at Pennsylvania Highlands in Richland can be reported to the Richland Township Police department by first dialing 9 from a campus phone then dialing 911.

• Crimes or emergencies occurring at the Pennsylvania Highlands Ebensburg Education Center (Ebensburg) can be reported to the Cambria Township Police Department by first dialing 9 from a campus phone then dialing 911.

• Crimes or serious incidents can be reported anonymously and in strictest-confidence to the Office of Safety and Security by calling the office at 814-262-6427 or by dialing extension 6427 from any Campus phone. You may also report a tip by accessing the anonymous tips website by clicking here.
