3,407 students were enrolled during 2016-2017, and over 53,000 have been served since the College was founded.

On average, our students save $5,970 annually by attending a community college compared to a four-year public college.

With a 17:1 student-to-faculty ratio, students feel like family with the one-on-one interactions received on a daily basis.

Sadie's Story

“I didn’t think I was ready for what a four-year university had to offer. Penn Highlands gave me the opportunity to excel academically and socially. I was able to live at home, enjoy my mom’s cooking, work part-time, and earn a solid education. This saved me a lot of money along the way.”

Sadie Carney
Liberal Arts & Sciences Graduate & Future Doctor

Dan's Story

“Pennsylvania Highlands was and still is everything I was hoping a college to be. All of the professors were wonderful and extremely helpful in my quest for knowledge. I did not know what I wanted to study, but after taking an intro course for Criminal Justice and meeting Dr. Robert Clark I knew what I wanted to become. Dr. Clark provided me a different insight, one that made education fun again and led me to seek a career in Criminal Justice.”

Dan Dabbs
Criminal Justice Graduate & Current Master’s Degree Student

Tara's Story

“I don’t think I would have been successful in my career if I had not started my academic journey at Penn Highlands. The classes, instructors, and staff were encouraging, supportive, and genuine. The environment of support I received outside of the classroom paired with the education I learned inside the classroom gave me what I needed to later attend a four-year institution and successfully start my career.”

Tara Brodish
General Studies Graduate & Local Teacher

Mike's Story

“Penn Highlands was the platform on which I was able to build my professional skills, leading to all the opportunities and advancements that came after. In a matter of two years, I had become the budding specialist that I needed to be, not to mention the strength of body and mind that I achieved.”
