A chef’s goal is to prepare a meal that is as satisfying to the palate as it is to the eye. With an education in the culinary arts, you will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed and excel in this endeavor.

The curriculum focuses on the development of culinary skills coupled with the study of effective business management principles to provide unparalleled career preparation.

At the end of the program, students participate in an internship totaling over 405 hours. Through this internship students gain “hands-on” experience and practical knowledge of the profession.

During the program, students will earn the nationally recognized National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation ManageFirst Certificate. This certificate will prove their expertise in the field and provide an added advantage in today’s highly competitive job market.

Successful graduates will be qualified for positions such as a head chef, kitchen manager, assistant food and beverage manager, and other related opportunities.
