ACE Faculty Application Process

Interested faculty members need to complete an ACE application and provide official college transcripts.  Copies of transcripts for the review process are acceptable, but official transcripts are required upon approval.

Course Syllabus

Interested faculty must review Pennsylvania Highlands’ course syllabus and agree to cover all course topics and evaluate students as outlined in the syllabus.

Required Professional Development

Once approved, ACE Faculty are required to complete an online New Course Orientation prior to teaching the course.  The orientation is followed-up by a phone call or personal meeting from a Pennsylvania Highlands faculty member in the discipline. The ACE Faculty Coordinator conducts a General ACE Program Orientation for newly approved and continuing ACE Faculty either on your high school campus or via video conference.  The General Orientation can be coordinated to coincide with teacher in service days.

In the fall or spring semester, the ACE Program invites all ACE Faculty to a required Annual Discipline Specific meeting.  If ACE Faculty members cannot attend at our Richland campus, the meeting is also offered via our College portal, followed up by a phone or video conference with our College faculty in the discipline.
