College partners with SAWIB to offer Tuition Relief Program

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College is pleased to announce that we are collaborating with the Southern Alleghenies Workforce Investment Board (SAWIB) to assist those affected by the current economic downturn. Through this partnership, we will be offering a Tuition Relief Program for the Fall 2009 semester.

This program will provide financial assistance to eligible displaced or dislocated workers to attend Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.  The program is funded by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) of 2009.

Interested residents of Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon, and Somerset Counties are encouraged to contact their local Pennsylvania CareerLink office as soon as possible for additional information on this program.

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College provides quality, affordable opportunities for learning that meet regional needs in a supportive, student-oriented environment.
