Sprint to Success 5K Run/Walk Results

The College’s Annual Sprint to Success 5K Run/Walk was held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 , at the College’s Richland Campus.  As the seventy-six race participants navigated the course, groups of spectators enthusiastically cheered them to the finish line.  This year’s race had the largest number of participants to date with proceeds of over $1,000 benefiting the College’s Foundation for scholarships and special programs.

Sponsors for this year's event included Valenty Bottled Water, Inc., East Hills Recreation Commission, Giant Eagle, Yble Concepts, and New River Sportswear.

Race Coordinators Brenda Coughenour, Director of Financial Aid, would also like to thank the volunteers who helped make this race a successful event. Volunteers were employees Ewanna Wiley, Sue Brugh, and Robert Galasso; SADD members Jamie Hamish, Marie Hawkins, Megan Hostetler, Nick Bango, and Theresa Hanson; and Laurie Grosik, Ryan Grosik, Jacob Grosik, and Sadida David.
