Phi Theta Kappa inducts new Members

The Phi Theta Kappa Chapter of Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, Beta Epsilon Omega, inducted twenty-five new members into this prestigious international honor society.

Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of the two-year college. The mission of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.

The twenty-five new inductees are:

Ebensburg – Tara Brodish and Mark Woods

Jennerstown – Brenda Tomlinson

Johnstown – Michael Cancelliere, Hillary Cooper, Lindsey Overdorff, Zackery Robinson, Kelly Schenkemeyer, Christina Thomas, Chanette Toney, and Eric Vamos

Lilly – Janice Sitar

Mineral Point – James Kmett

Northern Cambria – Jessica Smith

Portage – Jessica Dobson
Salix – April Stevens

Sidman – Alexis Hershberger

South Fork – Amanda Penrod and Jessica Strayer

Summerhill – Charles McMahon
