Pennsylvania Highlands Community College is pleased to announce that adjunct instructor of Liberal Arts, Dr. Lisa Dallape Matson, has received notice that Cambria Press plans to publish her book, Representations of Dante Gabriel Rossetti in 2010. The book is based on research Lisa conducted for her doctoral program in Literature and Criticism at IUP. Matson was awarded the Ph.D. in 2007. Cambria Press, located in Amherst, New York, is an independent, non-subsidy, peer review publisher of innovative academic research.
Dr. Matson's career has encompassed academic, government and public librarianship as well as teaching and work in community network development. She earned a baccalaureate degree at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and an M.L.S., a certificate for Advanced Studies in Information Science from the School of Information Sciences of the University of Pittsburgh.
Prior to coming to Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, Lisa was Pennsylvania Equal Access State Program Manager at the Libraries for the Future. Previously she directed the Library of Mt. Aloysius College in Cresson, Pennsylvania, served as a reference librarian at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and directed the Analytical Research Center of the United States Department of Justice National Drug Intelligence Center.
