Faculty can now take advantage of Turnitin to help with plagiarism in student assignments. If a faculty member is interested in using Turnitin please send an email message to mailto:bzabor@pennhighlands.edu to get the account number and password.

Faculty can access training videos and manuals at Turnitin. To set up an account in Turnitin you must contact Barb Zaborowski to obtain the username and password.
 

Choice Reviews Online is available to all faculty members and enables the review of materials with specific disciplines and allows through the creation of an individual profile for faculty to receive monthly updates.
You can now access the online version of "Community College Times" 24/7 by clicking on the logo link.

Information Literacy Instruction- Faculty who want to request information literacy instruction in their class need to complete the ILI request form and return it to the librarian at the site where the class is to be held.

Blackboard can be used to provide instruction in a totally online format or used to augment in-class instruction. The Library can support both online and in-class instruction by working with faculty to create a link within a course to selected library materials. Ask a Librarian for more information.

  • Also in Blackboard is PHILLIP (Pennsylvania Highlands Information Literacy/Library Instruction Program). All students are enrolled in PHILLIP. PHILLIP provides an overview of library resources and enables faculty to have students complete PHILLIP for a grade.
