Digital History – This website focuses on American History.

The National Archive is a great resource for those studying American history.  It has military records, genealogy records and more.

Academic Earth has lectures by prominent history professors.  Each lecture could a be source to cite.

Google Scholar will let you search for scholarly articles on history.

C-SPAN has information regarding politics and social issues ranging from current events to decades past. C-Span's Video Library has online video archives as well.
