Bodolosky Naming Campaign

Pennsylvania Highlands is pleased to recognize one of the premier
music educators in the Johnstown community with the naming of the Bodolosky Center for Arts and Education
. We ask you to please join us in honoring Mike’s legacy by donating to this campaign.

Mr. Bodolosky retired as Director of Bands and Fine Arts Department Chair for the Richland School District in 2007. During his tenure at Richland, he also served as choral director and musical producer. While at Richland, his bands have performed in Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Toronto, the national Cherry Blossom Festival, Washington D.C., Walt Disney World and the Florida Citrus Bowl.  He is currently the Executive Director of the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center, Director of Bands, Musical Conductor, and Music Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

The Bodolosky Center for Arts and Education, located on the Richland Campus
of Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, will be a multipurpose facility capable of providing the best in performing arts as well as a learning environment that encompasses the latest in technology and comfort.

The Center is meant to be a community asset used for the benefit of all residents. With a total seating capacity of 968 and the availability of two separate lecture halls each seating 150, the opportunities are endless. We anticipate that the Center will host community lecture series, student programming, local, regional and national stage performances, conferences and other community related offerings.  Pennsylvania Highlands is dedicated to enhancing exposure to the arts and creating a learning environment that welcomes all students.
