Healthful Eating Presentation

Claire Holzner, Field Educator with the Ethical Choices Program (ECP), will be presenting on Healthful Eating. ECP educators seek to empower students to make thoughtful and responsible choices for their health, the environment and animals, while also encouraging students to develop critical thinking skills. Education is the first step towards sustainable living, healthier bodies, and a more compassionate society. ECP educators present only factual information while engaging students in interactive participation and non-judgmental discussion.
Join us on Tuesday, February 13 in the LGI and learn about the connections between diet and health, discuss ways that informed dietary choices can help prevent or relieve diseases, and investigate how modern farming and agriculture practices contribute to present-day health concerns.
There will be 3 presentation times that individuals can choose from to attend:
