Distance Education

Distance Education courses offer students the opportunity to earn college credit at the time and location convenient to them.

Online Learning

Online learning is learner-driven, internet-based instruction delivered through one of
two class-specific online platforms.  Online learning is ideal for students with
work obligations, family obligations, travel constraints, or time/schedule conflicts.
Students are able to access their online materials 24 hours a day, seven days a week via
any Internet-accessible computer.

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College offers two class-specific platforms for
online instruction: Jenzabar e-Racer Online Course System and Blackboard Learning Management System.  However, after the Spring 2010 Semester Blackboard will no longer be supported.

Note: Jenzabar e-Racer is part of the myPeak system. You will have to login to myPeak to access Jezabar e-Racer Courses.
