Online Learning

Online Learning Image

Online learning is learner-driven, internet-based instruction delivered through
the Jenzabar e-Racer online course system.  Online learning is ideal for students with work obligations, family obligations, travel constraints, or time/schedule conflicts.

Most online courses involve reading documents posted online, taking online tests/quizzes, posting to message boards and completing other activities as decided by instructors. Over the semester assignments are posted which must be completed by set due dates. Students work online to complete assignments while maintaining contact with instrcutors through email.

Students considering online classes should be aware that online learning will require basic computer skills. Contact Alex Kirby at 814-262-6484 or via email at akirby@pennhighlands.edu with questions about the computer skills neccessary to take online classes.

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College offers online instruction using the Jenzabar e-Racer Online Course System

Note: Jenzabar e-Racer is part of the myPeak system. You will have to login to myPeak to access Jezabar e-Racer Courses. If you look under the "Students" tab in myPeak you will find a link for Jenzabar e-Racer to the left of the page.
