The Registrar's Office at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College is responsible for all aspects of student registration and academic records and provides a continuum of service from enrollment to graduation and beyond.
Pennsylvania Highlands students may register for courses during specific registration periods depending upon current enrollment. Please review the Academic Calendar for semester registration and add/drop periods.
Students may register either in person, through the myPEAK portal or through mailing or faxing a Registration Form to the Registrar’s Office. Please contact our office for assistance in the registration process.
myPEAK is the College’s student information portal. On myPEAK students can access important information regarding their record at Pennsylvania Highlands. This information includes grades, billing statements, financial aid information, online registration and more. Students who are unsure of their login information for the myPEAK portal should contact the IT Help Desk at 814-262-6470 or email email@example.com for assistance.
Grades and Transcripts
While Pennsylvania Highlands no longer mails grade reports to students, all grades can be viewed through the myPEAK portal once final grades have been assigned. Additionally, an unofficial transcript can be accessed through the myPEAK portal as well.
Official transcripts can be requested using the Official Transcript Form. All transcript requests must be in writing and have the student's signature. Transcript requests are fulfilled within two business days of receipt. Fax service is available for unofficial transcripts only.
Enrollment and Degree Verifications
All degree verifications and third party enrollment verifications must be processed through the National Student Clearinghouse or by calling 703.742.4200. Enrollment verifications required by the student may be obtained two weeks before the semester begins.
Graduation & Commencement
Students preparing to graduate from Pennsylvania Highlands must complete a Graduation Application in order to alert the College and to request an evaluation of coursework. Application deadlines are noted in the College’s Academic Calendar each year. Graduation Applications are available in the Registrar’s Office or online.
A Commencement ceremony is held each year in May to commemorate the graduates of the entire academic year. For more information, please contact either our office or Student Activities.
Rights & Privacy Act
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act was designated to protect the privacy of educational records, to establish the right of students to inspect and review their education records, and to provide guidelines for the correction of inaccurate or misleading data through informal and formal hearings. Students also have the right to file complaints with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act Office (FERPA) concerning alleged failures by the institution to comply with the Act.
