PHEAA State Grant
The State Grant program provides grants to eligible Pennsylvania residents who are in need of financial aid to attend a PHEAA-approved post-secondary school as undergraduate students. Through this grant, students are eligible to receive from up to $2,312 for the academic year.
Although students receive direct notification from PHEAA regarding potential eligibility for a state grant, the Financial Aid Office is required to run additional eligibility checks for students in accordance with PHEAA guidelines regarding eligible programs (certificate and diploma programs are not state grant eligible), enrollment, and academic progress (grades, credits completed, remedial classes, and online classes).
