The Accelerated College Education (ACE) program (also known as Dual or Concurrent Enrollment) is a partnership between high schools and the College. ACE allows high school students to earn Pennsylvania Highlands' credits while in high school.
All capable and committed students are encouraged to enroll in the ACE courses offered at their high schools.
Benefits of the ACE program include:
- Students enroll in Pennsylvania Highlands Community College courses, while simultaneously earning their high school diploma.
- College equivalent courses are taught by high school faculty.
- Courses are taught on the student’s high school campus
- Students receive transferable college credits while attending high school
- Tuition is affordable at $39 per credit
- There is no registration fee
- Students receive an official transcript
- Students begin college with transferable credits
