High School Adjunct Faculty |

| ACE high school faculty at partnering school districts volunteer to teach Pennsylvania Highlands Community College courses at their high school. These faculty members must be approved to teach Pennsylvania Highlands Community College courses and meet academic department requirementsfor teaching the College course. |

Academic Integrity Policy |
|
The maintenance of an atmosphere of academic integrity is the responsibility of all students, faculty, and staff. Complete academic integrity in fulfillment of requirements is expected of
all students and faculty. Students must in no way misrepresent their work, fraudulently or unfairly advance their academic status, or in any way abet other students who fail to maintain academic integrity.

Grading System |
|
Students are expected to attend all class sessions. The completion of all requirements specified in the course syllabus is the responsibility of the student. Students are entitled to frequent feedback on their academic progress. The instructor is encouraged to employ, but is not limited to, the following criteria: attendance, class participation, weekly quizzes, periodic hourly exams, graded homework assignments, lab reports, oral reports, journals, and notebooks.

Students wishing to pursue an incomplete grade should discuss the request with the

Faculty Criteria Overview and Application |
|
Required Qualifications:
- Academic Courses: Master's in subject preferred; Bachelor's in subject required
- General Education Courses (Math, English): Master's in subject required
- Occupational and/or Certificate Courses: Associate’s degree minimum; two years experience or five years experience in the technical field; nationally recognized certification in field

Volunteer Service Agreement |

The College relies on the professionalism and expertise of its faculty to ensure curricular integrity, rigor, and equivalence with courses offered at all our locations. As an ACE instructor functioning under the aegis of both your District and Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, we ask that you review, sign, and return a volunter service agreement indicating that you understand what is expected of you as a volunteer adjunct faculty member at the College.
