Workforce Education Instructors

Workforce Education at Penn Highlands offers training for regional employees and job/career seekers in both open enrollment and employer-customized training formats, and you could be the one leading them.

Are you interested in receiving clearance to serve in our “need contingent” Workforce Instructor pool? Expertise in any of the following areas is required; prior teaching experience is helpful but not mandatory for consideration.

We are accepting applications in the following areas on an ongoing basis: Health Care (Revenue Cycle, RHIT, Explanation of Benefits, Billing/Collections, etc.); Manufacturing (Blueprint Reading, Welding, Soldering, Industrial Maintenance, etc.); Quality Assurance; Six Sigma; Lean Manufacturing; CAD; Project Management; Customer Service; Sales and Marketing; Computer/IT, and others.

Community Education

The Community Education program offers a variety of non-credit personal interest courses and aims to provide opportunities for participants to learn new skills, discover new hobbies, and meet new people. Community Education instructors are wanted in many areas, including, but not limited to: Arts/Crafts, Computers, Dance, Foods & Spirits; General Interest, Home & Garden, Kids’ College, Languages/Culture, Mind & Body, Money & Law, Music, Pets, Writing, and others.
